Jim Darin

Jim Darin has been in commercial real estate for over ten years, specializing in the leasing and sales of automotive, industrial and retail properties in Los Angeles and Ventura Counties. Jim has a Bachelor of Science degree from Metropolitan State College in Denver Colorado in Aerospace management with a Minor in computer programming. Jim started Ventura Equipment Company, an automotive equipment distribution company in the 1990’s, distributing lines of heavy automotive equipment to shops and dealerships. After setting up hundreds of shops from the ground up, transitioning into the commercial real estate industry was a natural and has become his life’s work. Jim has handled hundreds of leasing and sales transactions and owns multiple commercial properties himself. He takes pride in understanding the property owner’s long term motivations, goals and headaches, and believes that any relationship worth having is worth having long term, and not for a single transaction.
